Provisionally booked for 24 players, but now increased to a maximum of 40, as we have 38 down to play. Final cost confirmed as £25 for golf and food.
This will be the first event down near Nottingham, so about time the members got a local game down that area.
Myself and James will also be running a putting competition at each of the Winter League events, for which there will be a nice trophy at each event for the winner. Cost for entry will be an additional £1 and all proceeds will be going to Cancer Research, when we will hopefully make a nice donation come James's Charity golf match next summer.

Apart from finding the place?
Apart from finding the place? The course is pretty straightforward Chris, the fairways are fairly generous although some on the back 9 tighten up a bit. Worth looking over the brow of the hill on the 3rd, big landing area but trouble if a way left or right. The 8th is a little bugger depending on which tee we're off, it's only 110 yards but the wall at the front of the green can make it tough if you're short. The second shot on the 18th is a doozy too, miles uphill from the fairway and easy to leave it way short.

Event 1 Mapperley.
Coffee and bacon rolls will be on the go from around 08:45 in the morning, so can we ideally get there around 08:30, so you can have a bit to eat meet the new members and then have a go on the putting challenge.
Foos after the game will be served on a rolling basis, so as you come in you can sit down to eat.
There is no requirement for shirt and tie for food, but might be worth taking a spare pair of trousers if the course is wet etc.
I will be there from around 08:30 and will post the sign to say where we are meeting.
Martin will organise what holes for the on the day prizes etc.
Will re-do the tee times this morning, with those confirmed going out in the first groups etc.

Hi Richard You can find all
Hi Richard
You can find all the scores from Mapperley on the CGL group pages on Golfshake. Go to events, then stats. I just jotted down my scores, then updated my own Golfshake stats.
I hope I'm not treading on any toes by answering your query, but it's been nearly 4 hours since you posted your question and I was getting worried that you might be feeling paranoid by the lack of response
. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply Steve.
Thanks for the reply Steve. Just to let everyone know that all scores will be completed on the golfshake group pages by the end of the week following the event (probably earlier) which will show full results and any handicap changes that have come from the event.
What members need to remember is that we have separate CGL handicaps in the group so any results posted will not affect the golfshake handicaps (I am just using them for comparison purposes and to update CGL handicaps when applicable)
