Gainsborough is this year improving the course and they have given us an excellent package based on this years prices. We will be playing the Lakes course which has some really great holes on it.

 

This event will be a dual event: Event 8 from the CGL Winter League 2012/2013 and the CGL Masters 2013.

 

The CGL Masters 2013 offers the first chance to win 100 Order of Merit points towards the Summer League 2013.

 

First tee time is 11:06; meet an hour before for bacon rolls, coffee and banter!

With just under two weeks to go until the last event on the Winter League 2012/2013 at Gainsborough please can you all make sure you register your interest correctly on the site. (Cancelled or Confirmed please).

 

It should be a great day with the top four going out in the final group again, can anyone stop Mr Wilson's charge to be the Winter League Champion?

I recieved an email over the weekend from Gainsborough offering me the Spring package at £25 for coffee, bacon rolls, golf and a meal afterwards. I thought i best ring them to check our price was still ok and it is!

For £25 we are getting: coffee, bacon rolls, golf, meal afterwards and trophy fund. Excellent package!

Thanks to the 35 players that turned out today, great day fellas.

 

We had 49 players take part in the Winter League with the latest being Lee Gavaghan. I hope you enjoyed your day Lee.

 

Well done to James. Winter League Champion 2012-2013 and CGL Masters Champion 2013.

Cheers for your efforts John it is much appreciated, could have done with a bit more wind today though to blow a few others off course!!

Yes, thanks John for all your effort to keep this a vibrant society and to all others that helped organise the games and get great deals for us. Sun was no exception... all that for £25.


 Thanks also to my playing partners Kieron,Steve and Carl (don't take him on in a chipping competition) and well done to James Illsley (shafted me again with another 15 ft putt) and all the other placements in the winter league.
