Course Details:
A class parkland act! Sitwell Park Golf Club is set in picturesque countryside only two and a half miles from Rotherham and seven miles from Sheffield. The course was designed in 1913 by Dr. Alister McKenzie who some years later went on to assist in course design of the famous Augusta National home of the US Masters. Once on this delightful course one could be many miles from the nearby industries, which are completely obscured by the rolling terrain.
Course Facilities:
Pro Shop, putting green, trolley hire and buggy hire.

Back in God’s own county: South Yorkshire for Sitwell Park Golf Club. It’s hilly in places, it’s very tight in places, it’s got an amazing set of par 3 holes and it really does have its own ‘Amen Corner’. Holes 4-7 are four really tricky holes to play. Good luck, you will need it!

This is another new venue and a course many have wanted to play at.

First tee time is 11:00; meet an hour before for coffee, bacon rolls and banter!

Myself, Robin, Tony Horne,

Myself, Robin, Tony Horne, Trev, Nigel, Rich G, Rich Norton and Rich Shaw played Sitwell on Friday 29th April and it was excellent.

The greens (as Rich Garner will testify) were superb. Amen corner took it's usual stance: Robin managed to drive Hole 4 and got a well deserved Birdie. Hole 5 proved again a tricky green to hit. Hole 6, well Robin hit a great approach shot 30 yards from the green and came away with a 6. this was then topped in the next group by Rich Garner, Rich hit a wonderful drive down to less than 20 yards off the green and then  blobbed the hole! Hole 7, the tight Par 3 was again the usual bunker magnet which Tony found.

The course was in great condition with everyone looking forward to playing there again.
