Course Details: 
Each hole is very individual offering challenges to golfers of all abilities. Whilst many fairways are tree lined you are unlikely to lose your ball if you stray into them as the grass is kept short. Greens have true putting surfaces playable all year round. The two loops of nine holes each start and return to the clubhouse and numerous points on the course allow you views over Wakefield and the surrounding countryside.

Event 6 and yet another new venue, Wakefield Golf Club. Check out the course overview on their website, looks a nice challenge with plenty of tree lined fairways to tackle.

Rich Garner will be happy with this event being a local lad but never having played it!

 

First tee time is 10:00; meet an hour before for coffee, bacon rolls and banter!

Next event - We still only have just over 20 taking part in this event, is there no moor interest than that? Although the course has gone under some alterations, Paul checked and the course is now looking sound i understand.

Had a txt from Trev Minchin and he flew to Tenerife yesterday and thinks sunny Playa de las Americas beats wet and cold Wakefield. Have to say i do agree with him, he'll not be back in time.

PRICE as come down for this event to £29 club as reduced the price because of the work been done over the winter we WILL be on all greens and not temps being booked for 23 but is open to more if you want to play

On second thoughts, can you put me in the group that will be on the parrallel fairway, so i can still praise him after his sliced driver..........

 

Paul, i have realised, that anywhere on the course at the same time as John will probably allow me to see some of his shots, so any group will do smiley
