Player Tips
Careful with the water! Think about your tee shot on the 6th, lay up short and leave a long second, or try and land you ball to the side of the water in the trees for a clear short shot to the green. The Choice is yours!

Have shown available for Gainsborough on VGS site - Sent this to confirm
Numbers Update
We currently have 38 signed up, so i have prov booked another 2 tee times, allowing a total of 44 players maximum.
Tee Times for Gainsborough
Will be sorting these out today, ideally with those still in contention being grouped together for the last event of the league.
As there is both prizes on the day and overall winter league prizes for the top three, i work out there are still 11 people playing that are in with a chance of finishing in the top three, without having to score more than 38 points.
Gainsborough Team Event
For the team event, we will be waltzing around the course!
This means the following;
Hole 1 - single best score counts
Hole 2 - two best scores counts
Hole 3 - Three best scores counts
Hole 4 - single best score counts
etc
etc
So the team event will consists of handicap stableford score for
6 holes best single score
6 holes best two scores
6 holes best three scores
I.e., 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3 (like the footsteps in the waltz!, hence the name).
Soup and sandwiches
Thank you for your email and confirmation of numbers.
The soup and sandwiches will be served in the upstairs clubhouse bar/restaurant area. It is entirely your choice when they are served, however with your tee times being in the morning we would expect you would like them on completion of your golf on a rolling basis.
If any of your guests do require any catering on arrival we do need to receive notification in advance as you are such a large group. We can offer you coffee and bacon rolls on arrival for £3.25 should you wish to pre-order.
